Gynaecology

As gynaecologists, we look forward to providing you with the latest medical and minimally invasive surgical options.

We provide a complete range of gynaecological services. We have a special interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy (keyhole surgery). Dr Wilson and Dr Gerges have both completed fellowships in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

Dr Gerges has a keen interest in laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery, and his training has given him the knowledge, expertise and skills to determine if and when to perform surgery, whether it be laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, vNOTES, hysteroscopic or urogynaecological. He holds the highest level of accreditation (RANZCOG/AGES Level 6) in Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery in Australia. He is also particularly interested in gynaecological and “endometriosis” ultrasound, allowing him to provide women with holistic care. Dr Gerges has also obtained a Masters of Advanced Gynaecological Surgery and is currently undergoing a PhD in imaging and endometriosis.

Combined, these higher-level qualifications give us both the knowledge and surgical skill to tackle complex operative gynaecological issues in the best manner for our patients, utilising the most up to date evidence and techniques.

We provide a full range of management options, including conservative, medical and surgical, for all benign gynaecological issues, including:
